Monitoring Linear Accelerator Output Constancy and Overall Performance Using the PTW Quickcheckwebline

Daily morning quality assurance (QA) for all available beams using conventional phantom measures only output and beam quality. PTW QUICKCHECKwebline (PTW QCw) is a compact movable light-weight dosimetry equipment used daily QA, capable of measuring flatness, symmetry, constancy given in single exposure. The purpose this study was to analyze monitor the medical linear accelerator QCw assess overall performance QCw. parameters 4, 6 15 MV photon 6, 8, 10, 12 MeV electron Elekta Synergy Kathmandu Cancer Center were analyzed. It found that well within recommended tolerance limit ±3%. Some known modifications settings gantry, couch, collimator introduced separately during exposures, percentage variations from baseline values noted check sensitivity beam. able detect deviations external irradiation conditions both under testing conditions. results suggest dosimetric consistency measurements helps accelerator.
